Policies & Program Overview

This program consists of:

  • 6 weeks of in-person lessons (recurring if desired)

  • One scheduled lesson per week at your chosen day and time (reserved)

  • A personalized curriculum created specifically for you and/or your child

  • Feedback, critiques, reviews, and more

Payment & Refund Policy

Enrollment reserves your seat for the full 6-week program.

  • All payments are non-refundable

Because access to the full program structure and weekly time slot is granted upon enrollment, no refunds are offered for any reason, including:

  • changed schedule

  • lack of practice

  • loss of interest

  • dissatisfaction with progress

  • personal, work, or school conflicts

Please enroll only if you’re fully committed to the program.

Attendance & Cancellation Policy

Your lesson time is a weekly reserved appointment.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, 24-hour notice is required

  • Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hour notice are forfeited

  • No-call / No-show lessons are forfeited

  • Forfeited lessons are not refunded or credited

I will always respect your time; please respect mine in return.

Tardiness

I encourage you to arrive on time and prepared.

  • In the event of tardiness, I will remain on-site for the duration of the lesson

  • Lessons end at the scheduled time even if you arrive late

Missed time due to tardiness is not made up.

Teacher Cancellation Policy

In the rare case that I need to cancel a lesson:

  • the lesson will be rescheduled

  • or an additional week will be added to the end of the program

You will never lose a lesson due to my cancellation.

Technology Requirements

To participate successfully in lessons, you will need:

  • MacBook or iPad (GarageBand or Logic Pro X installed)

  • personal headphones

Recommended:

  • a MIDI keyboard

  • external hard drive

Students are responsible for maintaining functional equipment.

Practice & Progress Expectations

Your progress is directly connected to your consistency.

Students are expected to:

  • attend lessons consistently

  • practice between sessions

  • complete assignments (if given)

  • communicate honestly about challenges

I will:

  • tailor instruction to your goals

  • provide honest feedback

  • challenge you appropriately

  • support you throughout the 6 weeks

Communication Policy

You may contact me between lessons for brief questions or clarifications.

  • Lesson content requiring demonstration will be handled during lesson time

Consultation Calls

The purpose of the consultation is to:

  • understand your goals

  • assess your current level

  • structure your customized curriculum

  • answer any program questions
